Date Night

So Cody and I have had a pretty rough week, and my husband being the AMAZING man that he is decided to do something for me to get my mind off of things and to help me heal. He went above and beyond....which is exactly what Christ did for us! So he took me to the nicest restaurant in Oklahoma City (The Mantel) and we just had the best time ever. First of all he bought me the most stunning dress in Hawaii for me to wear on our date. It fit perfect! Then we went out together and got me shoes that matched the dress! When we got to the restaurant there were my favorite flowers on the table! I had a Chocolate Martini and a Key lime Martini...the two best cocktails I have EVER had, Cody had a Chimay and then we both enjoyed a Rack of lamb and then banana foster for dessert. There was an amazing act of generosity that night, but I will share about that in a later blog. Here are some pictures from the night.

This is when we first arrived at the restaurant
These were the wonderful flowers!

This is our waitress making banana foster. I am sure it does not compare to the banana foster that my brother Jerry makes, he has told me several times all about it :)

Kiss Kiss Kiss!

This is the fabulous dress! He did so good!!!!! I LOVE IT

Once we got home we played Yahtzee (one of our favorite games) I do have to say that Cody won, but only because he cheated...and by cheated I mean played completely fair and even gave me extra rolls! Till next time....
