vulgar plant
Well I got this plant for Christmas. I was so excited to nurture it and feed it and see it grow! I did exactly as the directions told me, and I waited and waited. It seemed like it took forever, and then finally a bud was coming up from the soil. It grew, and it grew, and it grew....until it affectionately became known as the vulgar plant. Before these beautiful blooms where on it....it only had a pointed tip. Cody and I couldn't stop laughing, and it seemed to grow EVERY day, and still no blooms, until finally...yes we have blooms. My husband left today for 33 days, and I am coping right now, but we shall see in a few days!

wow! atleast you got a bloom! i had one that grew and grew and then turned yellow and died. shoot
Aw, its pretty! I hope the days speed by til your hubby is home!
At least you got a bloom...some people never do...come see me til your cody gets home!
Oh hayley - I just laughed and laughed! I never imagined what a vulgar plant it looked like growing!!!! LOL Glad you got a bloom....sweet surprise.
