If you didn't vote....

No worries...I won't yell at you and tell you that you are a horrible American citizen. I also won't make you feel shame and guilt for not making it to the poll. I will completely understand your not voting status and will not past judgement on you in any form or fashion. Why might you ask is Hayley so passionate about this, b/c she once was not a voter. She once was a 19 year old sophomore at Oklahoma City University. Hayley didn't understand what an absentee ballot meant or even how to get one. She didn't care for either candidate running, and she had no clue how to register since she technically had a home address in Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma!!!!! So she chose not to vote. On election day when approached by die hard "Your vote counts" politically knowledgeable college peers she was asked, "Have you voted today" in which she answered openly and honestly "No". Then the verbal fists were in full fight. Dodging comments left and right, being asked how she could even look in the mirror and call herself an American. So what did Hayley choose to do?!?! She chose to lie. From that point forward she had absolutely voted no question about it, I think she might have even stolen an "I Voted" sticker to avoid the questioning all together. So if you didn't vote...you don't have to lie to me I will love you either way!
*I chose to vote this time...much simpler since I am married and own a house in Oklahoma!
