So last Thursday I got a phone call from Cody in the middle of the day informing me that we had to go to his squadron's Christmas party. At first I was all like...."Wah! I just got you home and I don't want to go!", but eventually I softened up to the idea. When we got there it was your usual eat, drink, and mingle kind of Christmas party. Early on in the evening Cody was called up to the front where he was recognized and promoted from an E4 to an E5. Then to top off the night we won a raffle that will give him a free 3 day weekend for whenever he wants. So all in all it was a good night!

Hooray! That's awesome that Cody got a promotion. Isn't it neat to know your husband works hard and is good at what he does? And a free weekend off, that's perfect.
