We have curb appeal!

Ok so we did it! We put our house on the market, and we are well on our way of getting out of Oklahoma!!!! Before we put our house on the market it had many things that needed to be done. We had to complete the fence, steam clean the carpets, organize all the closets, take down crosses and photos, touch up paint, and most importantly give our house some curb appeal!!!!!! We knew we needed some desperately so we brought on a friend that is good with gardening and flower beds and we got er done. I seriously wish we would have taken a before picture b/c it was like a mass of dirt with dead weeds all through out, two dweeby/dead shrubs in front of our two giant Windows, a rose bush on the side of the house whose arms would attack and eat you on your way into our house, and a front door that had a wreath on it from fall!!!!! All that to say our house looked something a kin to this....

Ok so maybe it wasn't that bad, but it pretty much felt like it! So the boys got to work on the flower beds adding mulch and shrubs, and I took it upon myself to decorate the entry way and add a planter and some flowers to the garden, and wallah.....

By the way the cat in the pictures is not a stone cat that I put in my garden, it is the neighbors cat that got in my pictures!
That's all for now, but my realtor took some pictures, and we are actually going to put our house on the website www.openhouseok.com I will let you know once we get on there. The guy is coming out on Saturday to take pictures for the website. We are also having our first open house on Sunday! YEAH! I am so excited....and a little nervous

It is amazing how we have to now "stage" our houses to sell. So far - it looks great. Nice, clean and organized (at least the outside) Can't wait to see pics of the inside!

It looks great! Our front yard has been taken over by gigantic bushes and monkey grass... = no curb appeal at all! Let me know if y'all feel like trekking up to Denver, LOL ;-)
