First Job, Shower cake, and Ball

Well I got my first official job. One of the girls in my small group is throwing a shower for one of her friends and wants me to make the cake :) YEAH! Here is my most recent cake. My friend Lindsey is having a little girl named Sadie. Lindsey likes simple things...hence the simple cake :)

Last night Cody and I had the honor of attending the NAVY ball. It was a really nice time, but definitely a military event :) Good food none the less, plus I got a pretty dress out of it. Here are some pics from the evening, oh and I forgot the best part. Cody got the free tickets because he won "Blue Jacket of the Year" Basically it means that out of all the men in his squadron that are his pay grade they selected him as the best....I am super oober proud
