Belly Cake

Well my business has officially started. I have had 2 paid gigs, and actually got asked to do a 3rd one, but it was on the same day as one of my other ones and alas I could not handle the big orders. I still don't have the pictures from the first paid cake that I did, but as soon as I get them I will post them on here. This was a very fun cake to do. I got some new tools, and am starting to feel more and more creative and confident with fondant. I was asked to do a polka dot dress, but during the process felt it looked a little cheesy so with my clients approval I took polka dots and made them super chic. I wanted the dress to look like something I would want to wear if I was pregnant. This was a big shower so I also did 2 cupcake trees (one chocolate and the other my irish/vanilla cake) Here are pictures of the final cake and cupcake trees.
