Day 3 of Project Cut

Ok so I am writing this after the fact....yesterday was hard...real hard. I was able to do pretty well, but it def. wasn't a perfect day. I never realized how much my eating is effected by my emotions. This is such a great learning experience b/c it is helping me realize how much I emphasize food and how I plan events around food and what my day is like around food...I live to eat I don't eat to live but so many times I live the opposite way. Anyway just some of my own personal reflection....
Recap for day 3

30 min. cardio on the elliptical in intervals
Meal 1: rolled oats with water
Meal 2: 3/4 cup brown rice with half a chicken breast
Meal 3: 4 egg whites, green tea, and protein shake
Meal 4: Almonds, a Chicken breast
Meal 5: (here's where I slipped a little!) 10-12 unsalted crackers, a bowl of strawberries with some splenda on top (the part that was slipping was the carbs at night), some more almonds

My hubby was sick so I stayed home and took care of him. He had had a rough day so we just laid on the couch and talked it was very nice :)

I can't wait till Sunday...I'm going to eat a cookie...or 2...or 3...:)

I know what you mean about how your emotions affect your eating. I'm noticing that alot this week. This week is hard! I've been doing so good for 5 months, and now I'm hitting a snag. I just feel "blah". I just hope it goes away soon, and stays away. Way to go! You're halfway through the week, so it's almost over. YOU CAN DO IT!!
