Fun Weekend

This weekend was a blast! It started off with our Small Group Christmas party. Our small group in and of itself is a party, but then when you add food and I ping pong table it gets super fun :) The only sad part was our goodbyes to our two new friends Michael and Kim. Michael and Kim were an answer to prayer for both Cody and I. They are missionaries in East Asia and were back for about 3 months. During that time they invested in me and Cody as well as us in them. It was so refreshing to get to hear about their passion, fire, and zeal for Christ not to mention how much fun they are. Cody really felt a spiritual bond with Michael as I did with Kim. We were so blessed by these two and were super sad to see them leave, and yet excited for them as they embark together on the journey the Lord has set before them. On Sunday Cody and I took a trip to Tulsa. Remember the post about the tickets to Cirque de sole (I have no idea how to spell it!) well it was this Sunday. Let me just say that the show was worth EVERY single penny that we spent. It was absolutely incredible!!!!! Cody and I also went to a neat little coffee shop in Tulsa called The Coffee Shop on Cherry Street. It was such a fun weekend. The whole way there we dreamed about the future of health and fitness and what God had in store for us and on the way home we played the name game and 20 questions! It was such a sweet time:)

I was SO BUMMED we had to miss the Christmas party! So bummed. But, Mike's sister had her annual party that night and we've never missed in 8 years (I think it's been eight), so we couldn't miss.

I'm glad you got to go to the Cirque de Sole (sp?). It sounds like a blast. One of these days, I'll see one too. I had the opportunity to go the Vegas the weekend before my birthday and we would've seen one there, but I opted to stay in CA (where Mike will be working) and sight see around there. I'm excited.
